Hi, safire_diaz. The number of views in your portfolio equals just that... the number of views or visits to your port which is a good thing! Keep in mind though, that although your port has been visited, the contents of your port may not have been clicked on to read.

When creating an ineractive story, you have the option to be emailed when an addition is made to your story. You might want to edit your interactive and make sure you have checked how, or if, you would like to be contacted if additions are made.
