Question about submissions

I have a question....In your opinion is it better to have quite a few submissions of your writing material to the site, or is it better to concentrate on just a few? I have a few things that I have already written that I was thinking about submitting. I just wanted to check and see if it would be a good idea to submit more work at this time.
