Well, I upload everything I write to WDC. In fact, from personal experience I wish I had practiced that earlier. Back in 2007 and 2008, I had several items, including story concepts, a novel-in-progress, and short stories, that I had on my then-PC, on my daughter's PC, and on my son-in-law's PC, as well as on floppies, CD's, and zip cartridges. I managed to lose 4 hard drives and one motherboard (2 hard drives in Jan 2008, 2 hard drives and a motherboard in July 2008), both the other PC's were wiped, somehow the CD's didn't write to properly, the floppies are worn out, the zip cartridges apparently were overwritten--you get the idea. So now each day's work goes up on WDC. I also use MyDropbox. www.dropbox.com so that what is in the folder on my PC is automatically updated as I'm online. So go for it, is my opinion-if you want to keep some private, just set your Access Restrictions to "keep private-for my eyes only." Archie/Hanne-Marie ![]() ![]()
