"...working on mysteries without any clues...," Hello, story is this: about ten years ago, I started a mystery with a missing body, an apparent murder, no end of willing suspects and tons of motive, but after many stops and starts I still don't know exactly whodunnit. Also a 25 year old unsolved murder, an unnamed father, a mysterious mural, boxes of mementos left on doorsteps, love at first injury and at the heart of the story a man and a woman leading oddly parallel lives who each help the other to overcome their own pasts and obstacles. Can anyone help with this torrid tortured tome of troubled tragedy, or is it doomed to languish forever in the nether world of `might've been? (I'm old enough to know better but crazy enough to believe in the tangible power of dreams.) A working title is The Crowded Hour. |
