I am Christian, and it is easy to assume or believe that this is all related to the end of the world and the second coming. And I do not fault anyone for believing that. However, if I'm not mistaken, the earth itself is constantly changing and according to geographic archives, weren't all the continents just one big land mass in the beginning before they began to break apart? I just think the earth is repeating the cycle, only this time, it's at much quicker rate thanks to our (humans) part in....well, hate to say it...its slow deterioration.
