Research is on the agenda for me tomorrow. I know nothing about Argentina's recent history and right now I'm just trying to get the basics down now like architecture, city layout, daily habits and chores, weather. Wikipedia is great, but still suspect to me. I wish I had a good library near me.

It's not just instrument-making that's changed! Music itself is completely different today than it was 350-400 years ago. Modes instead of keys, tuning and harmony were all completely different. Historically accurate music can be pretty shocking (and dissonant)!
