June 7-Dragon
I am keeper of the dragons. I unleash them on evil humans. My dragons smite evil. I have seven dragons. One for each of the seven sins.
I unleash the green one for envy. That “Beware the Green-Eyed Monster” story was based on my green dragon. His green eyes are often the last thing the envious see before they are consumed in deadly green fire.
The yellow one is unleashed for gluttony. She is a very fat dragon. She eats the gluttonous while they are still alive. Those who lust for food become food.
The black dragon attacks the wrathful. Even my power as keeper of the dragons can barely control the rage of the black dragon. I often feel pity for his targets, because he destroys them painfully.
The orange dragon obliterates the lustful. She often takes the form of a beautiful woman, draws her targets closer, and then destroys them with her fiery breath.
The blue dragon is unleashed for pride. This dragon is by far the most prideful. She makes a point of keeping the heads of her destroyed enemies. Prideful people often see glinting sapphire eyes a few days before their punishment, because the blue dragon takes great pride in hunting her enemies. She scopes them out first, and then destroys them.
The purple dragon destroys greed. He often takes all of the wealth of a person first, stores it away, and then destroys the person. Often, you can tell a when a person is about to be destroyed, because they will be rich one day, and poor the next.
The red dragon destroys sloth. He is very lazy, though. He only goes out destroying once a month. The rest of the time he sleeps. He just swipes slothful people with his claws. He doesn’t eat them or ignite them. He is extremely lazy.
Those are my seven dragons. I hope that you never have to meet them. Keep my dragons in mind whenever you consider committing a deadly sin.
