JUNE 7 DRAGON
Walker, prince of Hinmantia, took a deep breath and whispered the incantation into the shadowy gloom of the great hall with all the confidence he could muster. This was his moment. A moment the boy had spent countless hours preparing for. He gritted his teeth, finished the chant and dropped to his knees as the long sought after change overwhelmed him. He was now the fierce dragon that would win him his freedom. He had become Xavier. Rising to his full height he stepped out of the murky purple shadows and slid in behind Queen mother Vivian, mother of Hinmantia City. She was though mother in name only. This night, with his new form, he would mette out his revenge. He would repay the vile woman for years of neglect, torment and abuse. He would free the people of Hinmantia from her rule and show them that her lies and false love were naught but a means to keep them under her will. Xavier licked his lips and bared his razor sharp teeth. He imagined her bones crunching between them, he could feel the pull of her torso as he tore through the vile wretch’s purplish gown of office with his broken horn; a horn shattered in his torturous journey to become strong enough to defeat her and become ruler of his home and make it a place safe for him and his father.
“Ah Mr. Hinman, this is a bit well violent for a ten year old wouldn’t you say? Is there any violence in the home?” The counselor queried.
“Of course not, what do you take me for? You gave the boy a prompt and he ran with it. Christ, all he reads is those damn dragon books. What do you expect? Hmph violence in the home.”
