"And that's the last thing I remember Doc,the flash of the dragons obsidian teeth as it fell in the pit and the cold dead eyes of the empress as her azure blood dripped off my blade," said the large blonde man lying prone on the black leather couch of Dr. Thaddeus's office. Across from him Dr. Thaddeus nodded sagely as he continued to scribble notes on his small yellow pad while occasionally stroking his small pointed goatee.

"And the Empress is the Empress of Venus, you say? Yes?" replied Thaddeus as he consulted his prolific notes on his patient.

"Yah, that's right. I know it sounds crazy Doc but it seemed to real. I felt it all, The War against the Dark, storming the Ice tower, slaying the dragon and the Empress. Hell, we were just about to confront the Wizard Black and then next thing i know i'm here," said the man shaking his head softly. " I know you keep telling me it's just the PTSD from my deployment and my Humvee getting ambushed but I don't feel like PFC Henry Adams, I feel like Korg the Slayer," replied Korg instinctively flexing his sword hand.

"Patience my boy, Military cases like yours are my area of expertise and trust me when I say that these cases are complex and you can't let yourself get bogged down in the morass if you hope to be well. Why just last week I treated another veteran who did three tours near the border of Pakistan and his Stress disorder manifested itself in a quite similar fashion. Modern war is a horrible thing and you've been through so much," replied the Doctor scribbling another note. "You've been taking your prescribed medicine, yes?"

"Good and this is helping yes? To ground you in your every day reality and not your fantasy world that was merely a coping mechanism triggered by the ambush?"

"I guess so. I mean Venus and all that is starting to seem, well like a dream,I guess. Although, I swear sometimes when I wake up in the morning I... Well you know, but the pills have been helping."

"Excellent," replied Thaddeus smiling. "Then I will see you next week for our next session and I trust in the meantime you will continue to take your medication as prescribed and continue your re-acclimation schedule?" said the Doctor reassuringly grasping his patient's enormous shoulder.

"I'll try, I'm trying..." sighed the large man shaking the cobwebs from his head again as he got up from the couch and proceeded to the door in one swift panther like motion, each of his muscles rippling as they did on his way out of the small office.

"Excellent, Korg then my revenge is almost nigh," cackled Thaddeus after his arch-nemesis had gone, then rising he waved his hand and his features melted and morphed into the pale and terrible visage of the great dark wizard of LLorona. "Then, perhaps sacrificing my daughter and her fire dragon was not for naught..."
