She stood with her hair whipping in the wind, her staff raised high above her. Before her she could see the army of creatures her enemy had gathered to destroy her and the world's last hope. All she could claim was one ally and he had been injured in a previous battle. As she amassed her power to deliver a challenging blow....

"Kira!"

"Yes Momma?"

"I've been calling you for at least fifteen minutes. Didn't you hear me?"

"No but I'm coming in now."

"Supper is ready."

"Okay." Kira dropped her long stick that she had found with a heavy heart. If she couldn't find this stick or one very like it she wouldn't know exactly what happened with her battle against the army coming to attack her. She trudged toward the house and her supper.

"Kira, I don't know what you find to do outside all day. Don't you want to invite a friend over to play with you?"

Kira slowly chewed the food in her mouth before answering her mother. "Well, there aren't any kids around here so I've just been playing make-believe. I play with those friends all the time."

"Imaginary friends again? Don't you think you are getting a little too old to be playing those kinds of games. Let's invite Tina to come over tomorrow and you girls can play together. I'll call her mom."

"Okay."

They stood, backed by their only ally. A broken horn had only added to his magical powers. The two woman exchanged a knowing glance as the raised their staffs high before them. One was dressed in black and blood red while the other wore shinning white and pale blue, their dress depicted the earth and air powers they commanded. When the enemy below caught a glimpse of the two he hesitated before allowing his army to charge.

"Oh yes, can she come over again tomorrow?"

Kira noticed her mother's smile and smiled back.
