I understand how you feel. The first time I entered this contest - I think it was two years ago - I didn't win a single day. I was still a relatively new writer, and I struggled with getting much out in fifteen minutes, but I finished every entry. Then the second time I entered, I was thrilled to win one day. Last time I challenged myself to do better, and I won two times. Now, although I hope to win three or more (fingers crossed), I recognize the quality of the writing in this contest is tough to beat. So, I focus on letting myself enjoy the creative outlet, challenging myself to write something that I can be proud of. What happens from there, happens.
