Thank you for the support, Brandiwynš¶  and Storm Machine  . I have written the start (7,000 words so far) of a children's novel and really need the motivation to get it finished. Or at least, some serious progress made. So I'd like to take that and expand it. An extra 50,000 words would be amazing!  I wasn't sure why the assignments were listed out in advance, as I am used to 'daily challenges' being posted daily. It's good though, because as I will be one of the first in the group to greet each new day (New Zealand's time zone is approximately 12 hours ahead of GMT), it allows me to do the day's challenge on the day without waiting for it to be posted.
