What Crys-not really here ![]() But I want you to think beyond the letter of the nano rules. There are even bunches of rebels who have banded together on the official site by now, and you should definitely use everything you want and need to do to make this your own project. I am a nano rebel. Last year I tried to complete short stories in addition to a novel and I did prep work for some of them during October as ad added challenge. I wrote over 67k. (despite all my other challenges those two months.) this year I am going to do something different again, but I always look at how to make the energy during nano work for what I am trying to achieve in my writing life. What is it you really want to accomplish? If it is that previous failed novel, dig it out, dust it off, prep it, and write like it is new again. I will cheer you every step if the way (and I won't be the only one) and when you hit 50k, celebrate. (but do write to the end of the book.) you can do it! {e:shakes pompoms} ![]() |
