Agreed. Most of their FAQ are links to various blog posts. Very disorganized. It is cool for keeping up with your friends' word counts throughout November. A little competition helps keep you motivated - you see you're just behind a certain friend and work to try to get ahead or at least keep up!

Writing.com has a nifty NaNo counter widget, too, so WDC keeps a running list of NaNo participants and their word counts. I have it set up in my account already, but I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. Anyone know?
