I work a full and a part time job, and I'm the mother of a college freshman (hours away).

Besides having dogs and cats of my own, I foster kittens and cats for a rescue group and volunteer my time weekly to get them adopted to their fur-ever homes.

Due to those time constraints, I tend to focus on what I need to get done. If I had more free time, I probably wouldn't.

I also have health concerns that make me hostile to those who don't respect my desire to avoid exposure to toxic chemicals. I also don't drink coffee and find the smell nauseating.

I wrote fan fiction for years (over a million words on ff.net), have one published novel, have one big-concept novel in progress, will write a sequel to the first novel during NaNo 2012, and have plenty of ideas to write more.
