If you restrict access to only the Group (October NaNoWriMo Prep), no one can see your item unless he or she is in the group. The only way someone could see your work through the forum is if you actually posted the assignment rather than linking it to your post.

If you don't want reviews, you can select that when creating your item. You can choose to allow someone to email comments to you but not allow reviews.
