I just wanted to swing by again and say hi. I've been gone from WDC for ages as I fell off the writing wagon awhile back. Wow! Did WDC change while I was away or what? lol

I want to get involved again with WDC as I realized it helps to push me along in my writing. By being surrounded by other writers, it just does something for me and keeps me going. I'm hoping to dust off an old idea and get to work on it. Unfortunately, I can't share any new work with anyone at the moment as I let my membership expire and didn't clean out my port first. Oops. I don't want to purge everything because well. I'll admit it. I'm vain. lol I want to save the pieces I have been gifted ribbons on. WDC has offered me a chance at a 50% off membership, so I'm hoping to upgrade again after payday.

Anyway. I was at a loss as to where to say hi and try to get involved again, it's been so long. Everything is geared towards helping the newbies... I was really wishing for a "you've been gone a long time and welcome back" group. lol I might end up lurking in the background again as I allowed WDC to take over my writing life last time and got overwhelmed. But I definitely want to be more involved than I have been.

It'll be good to get caught up with what's going on and try to remember how to review pieces.
