Did you try to write a possible ending to your story? If not certain, write down two or three possible endings; could be short notes for ending ideas.
You'll know which one of those ending ideas will fit the characters, motivation etc. Then to fill in what's in between will be a cinch. Well, not exactly a cinch, but you'll figure out the rest of it with less trouble.
