Thanks, Fancy Author Icon! Regarding your plot, do you want to brainstorm it?

If you'd rather work on it alone, here are my suggestions:
1. figure out what your protagonist wants.
2. figure out Every. Single. Possible. Way. you can think of to throw a brick wall in his/her face.
