I feel the same as you. I haven't written much since high school either, and that was 43 years ago. I feel like what I write is going to sound awful to anyone.

Of the few entries I read so far, I think yours is the best. I could get a feel of your surroundings and could picture myself being there.

Your descriptions are great. Your writing abilities are far superior to mine. Don't be shy about posting your writings. You're doing great!!
