Looking for a writing partner!

I have been writing off and on for about 17 years but never really counted myself as a writer. Now that I am older I would like to learn to writer better. I am currently brainstorming ideas for my first book titled: Guardians. But sadly I must admit I do not know the first thing about writing a book. I have been at this sight since the end of January so I am still new here.
