Remake a Christmas song in your own words!

Make it reverent or irreverent; pithy or personal; sad, sappy, happy...WHATEVER!...do what you like!

1. The words must be your own
2. Your chosen carol must be identified
3. Your words should translate to the melody of your chosen carol ~ in other words, we should be able to sing it.
4. items must be posted in bitem, citem, item or entry format ~ all others will be disregarded.

Prizes will be awarded long after this challenge is over (two weeks), because I want them to count.
