With only two entries it looks like another "consolation prize" round.  I'll get those reviews finished and consolation prizes sent out by the end of the weekend. Let's try to make this a round where I actually get to give out prizes! I've got GPs in my account to burn!  Here's your prompt. The deadline to enter Round 11 is 11:59pm WdC time on February 15, 2015. With Valentine's Day around the corner, there are going to be an awful lot of romance/erotica contests with V-Day prompts. This won't be one of them! Write a romance/erotica story set prominently in February that has absolutely nothing to do with this Hallmark holiday. If you're looking for other holiday inspiration, February also has Groundhog Day (2/1), Tu Bishvat (2/4), President's Day (2/16), Mardi Gras (2/17), Ash Wednesday (2/18), and Chinese New Year (2/19). February is also Black History Month, 2/4 is National Thank A Mailman Day, 2/5 is National Weatherman's Day, 2/17 is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and 2/29 is Leap Day (the next one will be in 2016). |
