Hi! As part of my challenge from "a very Wodehouse challenge" ![]() First, I wish Jane would have had a beautiful birthday, and even though I'm about four months late, I think it's simply the thought that counts and to remember she is still valued throughout the world and this community of writers idolizing her. To be honest, the most I knew about Jane Austen until now was her book, Pride and Prejudice though. I'm fourteen, only just, and so I wasn't going to read her novel really. I might have read it when I grew older. It seemed like it was for people older than I. So the best I could do was to read the Wikipedia article on her. Well, you tell me, Miss Megan, do you think a fourteen year old could read Pride and Prejudice? If so, I could read it and it would be a lot easier to do the rest of my Wodehouse challenges. ![]() Reading the Wikipedia, Elizabeth seems like a pleasant woman and Mr Darcy is also quite wonderful. And how they overcome their senses of "prejudice and pride", I really want to know! And I'm glad they got together in the end. It really seems like something I would read...if I were older. If I could read it, I just hope the romance between them doesn't go overboard. ![]() ![]() Jane Austen seems like a wonderful and amazing author and I really hope to read some of her works. ![]() ![]() ![]() ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ![]() ![]()
Comments: I am currently reading and reviewing this and I absolutely love it! Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.-Vivian Greene. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
