Totally random, but those happen to be my two supplemental languages. German and Italian are the operatic languages (along with Latin and French). Also, I lived in Germany and have Italian heritage. Have you played with Duolingo? It uses the microphone in your device to test your pronunciations.

With your fluency in Latin, I think Italian will come very easily to you. German is another story.

I've been refreshing my German and Italian. Start doing the lessons and we can practice on each other.
