I forgot to add one more program here: workrave.

This is not really a writing program, but since I work so much on PC and laptops that my wrist had had twinges of pain, I have this to remind me to take a break. I know nanowrimo means writing, but health is first, and this ensures the movement in the midst of the work. Again, this is a free software too.
