Am I the only one quickly scope creeping??? Now I need a degree in Arabic Studies in order to write this book. Or at least to understand my protagonist. I know NOTHING about Arabic Studies! Nothing!!! Why is my protagonist insisting on being an expert in something I know nothing about???

Can't I just write my novel about spreadsheets or music schools or something I already know. *kicks bossy character*
