I count anything that's fiction in November - it should be my primary novel but I get sidetracked and start writing other things when the mood strikes me. If my head is in another story, that's the story I write. Last night I had a headache, and I wrote about my character having a headache for the first word sprint of a our NaNo region's word war with Philadelphia.

I won't count any writing for work (dry, non-fiction stuff about software and hardware), even if it's for the company blog.
