<perk> wOw When a theme idea bubbles up into consciousness, I immediately shove it to the back of my mind. 'Show, not tell' descriptive imagery using all five senses to establish a setting is where my writing explosion begins. , Characters start to enter on their own into this milieu, developing the theme into a plotline with the usual twists and turns. I like the resolution to feedback to clues from the beginning for a sense of emotional closure at the end. It is a challenge building this into a novel-length work while keeping the energy flowing. Good luck in your visits with your muse, in the coming October Prep days. I look forward to seeing your work come together in November. |
