Well, I certainly wouldn't turn this one down

This year I opted for cheap notebooks instead of nice journals (I tend to have more coffee spills in November than all the other months of the year combined ) BUT I did get a very nice pen. It is The Handmaid's Tale themed and I got it from Out Of Print - which means that the proceeds went to book donations and literacy centers.

There's a bit of Star Wars in mine as well, because I'm bringing out my old R2D2 French Press - along with my usual mini-fridge full of Dr. Pepper and massive pile of instant soups and jerky. I feel ready.
