I honestly cannot remember the last time I wrote something from start to finish. I've written scene snippets, dialogue moments, but not anything really more than half a page. Saying I'm rusty in regards to writing is probably giving myself too much credit. But I did it! I wrote a beginning to end thought for my main character for the contest round. It's imperfect. It desperately needs to be tightened and edited. The plot itself is a but sloppy and all over the place. I've been teaching my 1st graders about plot elements and even I couldn't pinpoint the problem/solution in what I wrote, but I don't care. It's done. I actually wrote something for the first time in far too long. I'm so excited to write more pointless drivel when November is here. And I'm excited to practice a bit more with the other contest rounds.

Hello [Link To User sarahrae]
Great job writing one complete story from seven prompts delivered every other day for two weeks. Your Ice Baroness makes for good fiction.
