I've been telling myself I need to do at least some posting in the forum and yesterday I read this and just...I don't know.

Mine's set in a world much like ours, in a time just a bit in the future--or maybe at the same time. In my world, there are beings that were once called "fairies," but are also responsible for UFO sightings and a lot of ghost sightings and such. There's a pill that lets people see and hear them and it's wildly cheap, so most people take it. (And the logistics on all that are {e:waves hands as if fighting off birds}.)

So it's folklore and fantasy and supernatural and paranormal with a splash of sci-fi-ness-ish. Maybe it's what people call "urban fantasy," but it takes place in small towns and out in the woods, so does that still work?

Man, I don't know, but I'm glad to have the prep goading me into working on the ideas for it.
