A minor side story in my novel is about the new copper on the beat. She is of Nigerian descent. At home in London, she has to be respectable and respectful and attend church regularly.

Moving to the new posting, away from home, she lets her hair down. Woops! Her mum and 'auntie' turn up when she is scantily dressed and drunk. Got to put some humour into the drama.
