The chaotic goddess sounds absolutely fascinating, enough to make me literally exclaim out loud: "that's fascinating". I think having mythology/religion decided is especially important in the world-building portion of brainstorming specifically for this reason. 1) It's fascinating and can lead to some great ideas that spawn even better ideas. 2) We know from our own world history the effect religion can have on society and history.
