Excellent advice! With regards to the jumping from chapter to chapter, I like to use a place holder - something I can search in the "find and replace" function in word later, like @@@ or %%% to mark those places I have to jump over the Writer's Block Wall, so I can easily go back to them and fill in the blanks later. Just make sure it's not something that would otherwise appear in the body of the work. Happy writing to all!  "Time is mischievous." In case you're curious, I'm currently working on
