Oh no! If the hard drive itself isn't damaged, there may still be ways to get that draft back.... It took me four attempts - also with no planning - to get to 50k. This is the first time I did NaNo Prep, but now I'm not writing the book I did prep for, so I'm still pants-ing it, as they say  And farther behind than I was before, back to writing for me....
