I don't think we'd get enough entries to have an 'epic poem' category. We often don't even get enough for the 'long poem' categories.

Thanks for your suggestion on the various line lengths for the categories, I really appreciate that. I changed the line length requirements this year, but just did so arbitrarily to try and even out the categories a bit more. It never occurred to me that there could be some sound reasoning behind the length limits! I can't change them again mid-year, but I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind when I review them at the end of the year.
