Plotting a Mystery Novel: Part 2
Okay, so I am already on Day 5, abd I wanted to share my thoughts on writing a mystery and to share some of my secrets. So the inciting incident was easy to figure out. The crime is committed. The climax is where they figure out who did the crime. Easy enough, right? But then, the story is about so much more than that. Even in a mystery novel, there has to be some character development, and that's what's important here.
So I essentially wrote some notes on what the climax needed and then I turned it into a question.
