My mother worked at the local library. I spent many hours there. I remember checking out a stack of books one day and returning them a few days later, all read. She got so irritated because I would do that. I always wondered why - I read them, so what? But there were always book in my house growing up, and still in my house now. Wherever I travel or live, I make it a point to find and then join a library.

I love books, the printed versions, not online.
