This dialogue is a perfect example of what happens when an author makes a world that people get immersed in. I think of Star Wars, the Hobbits, any beloved characters. The creator gets us to believe those characters are real, the world is real, and what happens in those worlds is believable.

I can only hope to write stories that take readers to another world for just a little while and entertain them while they are there.
