I am like Brandiwyn🎶Prep starts 10/1! - I also love maps. Give me paper map to refer to. We use them all the time while traveling. Something about having a map to refer to. I am reading a Jules Verne book, 'The Mysterious Island' and as luck would have it, I found a map someone drew of the island he wrote about. Fictional island with very specific longitude and latitude, measurements of each square foot of the place. It is great to refer to. Of course, it is labeled in French, so I have to imagine sometimes what is what, or look up a translation.
