Oct 6 (Freebie) Plotting Strategies

We have a fee day on Sun October 6, but we should be getting into the nitty gritty of planning our novel (shout out to all you planners out there!).

As such, I think the ways of plotting could be looked at to give you an idea of what is out there.

"20240620 Plotting Techniques Part 1"

"20240621 Plotting Techniques Part 2"

This covers some of the more common ones.

For plantsers, here's a technique that a friend of mine introduced me to:
Chase the cat!

What this means is you plot the first 3 chapters.
When you finish chapter 2, plot the next 3 chapters based on what you have written thus far.
When you get to chapter 5, repeat... and so on, adding 3 more chapters whenever you have one chapter left to write.
