During NaNo you write 50k new words of a novel (draft) from 11/1-30.


BUT: What If...


... I realize during Prepping that a story I wrote MONTHS ago for a contest is actually a (possibly) important scene in my upcoming Novel?


When I write the 50k words "around" the "seed" story/scene – of course NOT counting them to the Word Count – then it's NOT cheating... or is it!?
