I have read articles this past year that speak of the benefits we get from writing by hand versus using a keyboard or tapping with our thumbs on our phones. Writing by hand does do something special for me. It is almost a meditative kind of experience. So, for NanoWrimo 2024, I am opting to hand-write my entries and then transcribe them to Writing.Com. I primarily use my phone, so for ease of entry, when I am done with a section written in longhand, I am reading my entries into WdC using voice-to-text. It isn't perfect but it is getting the job done for me... I have used voice to text for previous NanoWrimos but then I created the entries just talking. Writing my stories longhand and then reading what I have written takes a bit more time but I think I will like it on the long run... ------ ruwth ~ ~ ~ JESUS is LORD! ~ ~ ~ |
