You have some great points in that item.

I will say that I do like to start with dialogue occasionally but not all of the time. Most of the novels, I don't start with it except for 1 book in the mutants series so far, that is middle grade level.

However, since I end up writing so many scenes/stories on here. I do sometimes start with dialogue because there is less chance I will get long winded in my sentences. Sometimes, my reviews end up saying the sentences in the first paragraph are too long and a little confusing. So, the dialogue is a break from that aspect. The ones I'm writing for contests this month, so far the two started aren't using dialogue this time but I might add one later for a Halloween/Horror prompt and start with dialogue. Will have to wait and see.
