Do you really think so? I've read a couple of books where the main character dies at the end. One a book called Feed by Mira Grant (aka Seanan McGuire) was really well done. In my book, I am planning an unknown outcome for my main character. She is going to do what she feels is the right thing, but (right now anyway) I want that question of whether she had to sacrifice herself to accomplish it or if she found a way to accomplish it and live. -- of course in the actual writing and then later editing process, I may find that this doesn't work and will need to rethink the direction I am ending the book in. Anyone else have a controversial ending or plot that they are trying? Zombeeluv “There is no rule on how to write.
