Thanks for sharing! I've heard of Libby - that's where you can rent library books using an app right? I don't use it myself, because I'm the type who reads 5 books at once!

I do agree - exploring the genre you are going to write is very insightful. And romance has changed throughout the years, too. When I started reading in the 1980's gothic romances like Victoria Holt were all the the rage, then paranormals became popular, and I now I think Young Adult romances are in the air.
