I remember when I was younger there were very few actually sent out. My mother worked at a Drugstore so everyone would drop off a card to her or she would give someone a card. Being a small town seems like everyone knew us. After moving out and getting married, we never had anyone close enough that we wanted to send cards to, and I suppose many felt same about us because we seldom received a card. Over the years it has become sad, for everyone is afraid to say 'Merry Christmas' anymore. A quick smile then eyes lowered or focus on something else and we move along, quickly about our own business. No we don't send cards out to answer the question.
