Although this is not a new resolution, I am trying to write in my blog everyday. Also, I read quite a bit, sometimes in snippets, and other times, a half or a whole book, depending on my everyday life. What helps my wandering mind the most is the habit of writing down longhand what needs to be done during the day, every morning.
