Welcome to my little cubby hole. The goal here is give my fellow WDC members more exposure outside of Writing.com by allowing them to advertise their own website. This little forum is most beneficial to members with Premium accounts and higher, as they can host their own pages. Read "Memberships @ Writing.Com"

to learn why. Do not fear if you do not meet this criteria. One of the packages

advertised is a low-tech version of "web hosting" from my own websites. Peruse the details and fill out the form when you are ready to order. I've ~~dumbed down~~ made the details a bit less technical, so everyone can understand.

You name will enter the queue

When it's your turn, I will peruse your portfolio and let the muse dictate my starting point. I will send you the password to a private item. This will allow you to supervise my progress and request changes to the format as I go along. I usually stick to the WDC layout of a three columned table, with the left and right sides smaller than the middle. This can be changed per your suggestions.

After the website is satisfactory, deposit the final payment into "Lee's Piggy Bank"

I will transfer the website to your account.

PACKAGE ONE ~ The Basic Homepage

The basic homepage is perfect for members who want a simple home page. I will use a liberal dose of WritingML instead of HTML when I can. The advantage is speed. WritingML is that it's easy to use and edit in the future. The disadvantage to this is that WritingML only works on WDC.

The page will include WritingML links to your "Highlighted Items" for your Main Portfolio page, the introduction on your "Main Portfolio page blog(s), guestbook(s), group(s), and contest(s). I'll also throw in a "trophy case," with links to items that you received an Award-icon for.

Final payment ~ 40,000GP

PACKAGE TWO ~ "The Full Monty" Homepage

This package is great for members who plan to expand their website beyond WDC . This package includes the details in Package One and the following, except that I will not use any WritingML unless directed by you. I will adhere to HTML and CSS standards. I will add a custom background and incorporate your signatures and images into the design. In the end, the code used to make your site will be compatible with other webhosting sites.

Final payment ~ 65,000GP

Web Hosting

This is for members who desire a website but do not have a Premium account or higher to support the item. After you purchase a package, you can pay an additional fee for webhosting. I will keep the item in my portfolio and link to it within my own websites.

Welcome to my home away from home! I'm glad you dropped in. My name is LeMarr, friends call me Lee, but I use the pen name L. D. Dailey because it looks cool. I am an engineer by day and an aspiring writer by night. I am a novice at this writing thing. I started in August 2007 after hording an idea for a book inside my head for about five years. The journey has been a long one, but I am slowly finding my stride, learning what my writing style is as I fumble through the basics.

I named this place my asylum because writing has turned out to be my refuge away from the challenges of everyday life. In here, I can write about anything that comes to mind without causing anything catastrophic (except for eye strain or stomach pains if the writing is that bad). Most of my works delve into the fantasy genre, but if you peruse through the many rooms of this asylum, you will find stories across many genres.

So prop your feet up, get comfortable, and check out a story. The Engineer's Storage Room houses a collection of my short stories. The Sun Room houses a collection of stories written for The Writer's Cramp. I cook up all my novel ideas in the Kitchen. The Attic? Well, lets not go there. The attic is a place for junk. The Conjugal Visitation Suite contains my daring attempt(s) at erotica. All of The Asylum's activities are found around the Recreational Facilities. You can find stories about the life and times of me in Experimental Surgery.

The Asylum is constantly expanding to include more- guests. Goth Angel alive and kicking lays about in The Lobby. I play around with my group, The WDC Frontliners in The Garage. Check out my good friend, c.r.stone at Stone Rhythms!
